General auditions for occasional freelance orchestra work for:

 

Oboe & French Horn

 

LMA Orchestra is seeking to expand its list of players of the above instruments who are based in or around London. Opportunities include one-off concerts, patches of work and the possibility of more regular engagements in our series of concerts at St Martin-in-the-Fields.

 

If you would like to be considered please email us with the following:

 

- A brief note stating your interest.

 

- A short CV.

 

- Links to audio and/or video of your playing. Unaccompanied performance of standard orchestral excerpts is preferred if possible, with a minimum total duration of 6 minutes. Smartphone recordings are perfectly acceptable.

Application Deadline: As soon as possible. Applications will be acknowledged and assessed in the order in which they are received.

Auditions: If we wish to hear you live, we will contact you to arrange an audition in London as soon as possible. You may play any excerpts or pieces you wish, including anything already submitted in your audio/video links. You may also be asked to play excerpts at sight.
