LMA Conducting Class Ensemble

Do you play an orchestral instrument to Grade 8 + standard?

Come and join the LMA Conducting Class Ensemble!

This a great opportunity for you to learn more about the interaction between conductors and performers.


You will play a variety of music with developing conductors under the guidance of John Landor, an experienced, sympathetic and imaginative teacher and Associate of the Royal Academy of Music, London. If you want to try some conducting yourself, we can offer you a short session when time allows.


Classes are in conjunction with the LMA Conducting Course which takes place on Wednesdays during term-time, 6.30 - 9.30 pm at King Solomon Academy, London NW1 6RX (a 2 minute walk from Edgware Road underground station).


Participation in the LMA Conducting Class Ensemble is free of charge

and you may drop-in/out as you wish.


Current repertoire is Schubert Symphony No 5, Mozart Symphony No 40 and Copland Appalachian Spring.


Instruments required: Woodwind, Horns, Strings
